Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we process about you, why we process it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We comply with the GDPR and with Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.
1Who processes your data
The controller is Euroservis Slovakia, s.r.o., with its registered office at Školská 43/14, 935 21 Tlmače, Company ID 36 550 990.
If you have any questions about your personal data, write to us at info@euroservis-slovakia.sk or call +421 904 214 379. We have not appointed a data protection officer; these matters are handled by the managing director of the company.
2What data we hold about you
We process only what you write to us yourself, plus basic information about your visit to the website.
When you request a site visit
- your name and surname or company name
- your e-mail address and phone number
- the location of the project
- the service you are interested in and your note
When you subscribe to the newsletter
- your e-mail address
- the language you subscribed in
When you browse the website
The website records ordinary connection data such as the IP address and browser type. They keep the site running and protect the forms against abuse. If you allow analytics cookies, anonymous traffic statistics are added to that.
We do not process sensitive data about health, faith or opinions. We do not carry out profiling and we decide nothing automatically, without a human being involved.
3Why we need them
So that we can get back to you and prepare a quote
Without your contact details we cannot call you or come and see the site. We process the data on the basis of your request for a quote, that is, before a contract is possibly concluded, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
So that we can send you news
Only if you have given us your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time with a single click in the footer of every e-mail.
So that the website works and is not abused
Protecting the forms against spam and dealing with technical faults rest on our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
So that we know what visitors are interested in
We switch on the measurement of traffic and campaign performance solely with the consent you give in the cookie bar. Until you give it, the measuring tool does not start on the page at all.
4How long we keep them
- an enquiry that did not turn into a job: 24 mesiacov from the day it reached us
- an enquiry that did turn into a job: for as long as we work together and then for another 10 years, as accounting and tax rules require
- newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe
- cookie consent: 3 years, so that we can prove you gave it
- records needed for the security of the website: 90 days at most
Once these periods have passed, the data are deleted automatically.
5Who gets to see your data
We neither sell nor exchange personal data. Apart from us, they are available only to those without whom the website and e-mail would not work:
- the provider of our web hosting and e-mail boxes
- the company that takes technical care of the website for us
- Google Ireland Limited, and only if you have allowed analytics or marketing cookies
All of them are bound by confidentiality and may use the data only for what they provide for us. On our side, access is limited to a small circle of authorised people and we protect the data by appropriate technical and organisational measures.
In the case of Google, data may be transferred outside the European Union. Such a transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6What rights you have
In relation to your data you have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and receive a copy of them
- have an incorrect or incomplete detail corrected
- ask for the data to be erased
- ask for the processing to be restricted
- receive your data in a portable format
- object to processing that we base on a legitimate interest
- withdraw at any time the consent you have given us
Simply write to us at info@euroservis-slovakia.sk. We will get back to you within one month of receiving your request at the latest, and handling it is free of charge.
If you feel that we are not handling your data properly, you may turn to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
8Changes to this policy
We may amend the policy when the way the website works or the legislation changes. The current wording is always on this page and the date it takes effect is shown right below the heading.
